What affects the price

The final cost for your chimney service depends on a few specific factors. We look at the total height of the chimney stack, the level of creosote buildup inside the flue, and whether you have a standard masonry fireplace or a prefabricated metal insert. If there are structural blockages like nests or excessive debris that require extra labor, that will also adjust the estimate. We avoid hidden fees, but every setup is unique, so we evaluate the condition of your liner and firebox upon inspection.

About this service

Chimney cleaning is the process of removing soot and creosote from your fireplace system. Over time, these materials stick to the interior walls and can ignite if they get too thick. Cleaning also removes blockages like leaves or animal nests that prevent proper ventilation. If you use your wood stove or fireplace frequently, you should book a cleaning every season. It is a necessary chore to keep your home safe and your air quality clean.

Summer is the best time to inspect your chimney while the weather is clear. We can easily spot structural issues, loose mortar, or cap damage that might have gone unnoticed during the winter. Getting your chimney serviced now means you are fully prepared for the first cold snap of autumn. Give us a call to book your inspection.
